Biography

Rachel Sherman Johnson oversees all international agreements for the University of Kansas, and works with campus stakeholders to develop and renew international partnerships that promote the university’s academic and co-curricular mission. In addition, Dr. Sherman Johnson manages the outbound Fulbright and Fulbright-Hays application processes for both students and faculty, and advises KU's international Fulbright scholars and students. She leads workshops for students, staff, and faculty on intercultural competency, and provides consultation on campus and curricular internationalization, including Collaborative Online International Learning. She has lived abroad in South Korea and Japan.
